Full-time in the Latham area.Responsibilities of the Principal Software Engineer will include:

• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, development, and unit testing phases.
• Drive improvements and innovations within development, identifying and delivering enhancements.
• Provide comprehensive estimates for technical solutions and ensure high-quality design and construction.
• Contribute to backend node.js APIs, react web UIs, and docker-based infrastructure; oversee AWS management, including databases and server less functions.
• Other duties as assigned

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Principal Software Engineer:

• Over a decade of professional development experience, including leadership.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, and Javascript, with hands-on experience.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (CDK).
• Extensive knowledge of ORM and MySQL databases, ensuring development standards, code quality, and security.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC2), observability tools (New Relic), and agile development practices.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
