Seeking an Interior Design Associate with leadership and business development skills at small and family run boutique in OxfordshireProactive Interior Design Associate with leadership and business development capabilitiesBeautiful and high end residential projectsBoutique Design Studio based in OxfordshireSalary Guide: £50,000 – £60,000SummaryA position for an experienced Interior Design Associate with leadership as well as business development skills has just become available. It is at a small and family run boutique interior design studio based in Oxfordshire (with some flexibility). The ideal candidate will be an inspired, passionate, and proactive leader with also a proven track record of delivering beautiful as well as high end residential projects with a strong creative flair.This role will also involve a strong element of new business development and client relationship management. Eventually, growing into a shareholding partner.Job description:

  • Creative, intuitive, and passionate about design and the process
  • Mentoring, supporting, and developing the team
  • Ensuring commercial efficiency across the studio
  • Taking ownership of individual, and team, profitability
  • Arranging and organising the workload of all staff (resourcing of projects)
  • Carrying out regular reviews across the range of projects
  • Leading in meetings as required, preparing fee proposals
  • Assisting Partners with fee proposals and budgeting
  • Reporting monthly to Partners on team progress, profitability, areas of concern, area of development including recommendations
  • Delivering an excellent client experience with confident new work winning capability
  • Assisting with Business Development
  • To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required

Skills necessary:

  • Firstly you will need excellent communication skills, written, verbal and visual
  • Secondly, at least 8+ years of experience in luxury residential projects in the UK
  • Also, proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Furthermore, you will be highly organised and able to plan and prioritise work
  • You will also have a responsible attitude with strong Leadership and decision making skills
  • Also, able to foster a collaborative working environment
  • Furthermore, a commercial outlook with a profit focused mindset as well as a new business winning capability
  • Lastly, the ideal person will be a diplomatic problem solver as well as have a passion for people, processes, and creating exceptional work
