Full-Time, Temp to Hire opportunity for Procurement & Inventory Specialist

A carpet recycling facility in West
Phoenix is hiring! This is the first recycling facility of its’ kind for this
company, as well as the world. They have all new, state-of-the-art equipment
that allows them to completely recycle old carpet and turn it into a nylon
material. They are trailblazers in their industry and looking to bring on a talented Inventory specialist, that is just as passionate about their business as they are.

The Parts Procurement & Inventory Specialist will
purchase supplies and materials at the optimal price and delivery cycle while
maintaining efficient inventory levels.

Job Duties:

·      
Follow purchasing and inventory
control procedures and sequence of operations within the department to optimize
workflow.

·      
Review market, price, delivery
conditions, and trends to determine present and future material sourcing.

·      
Build and maintain supplier
relationships to obtain optimal delivery, quality, and price.

·      
Negotiate as needed to obtain
optimal delivery, quality, and price.

·      
Assist in other duties and projects
as assigned.

Requirements:

·      
Working knowledge of email,
internet, and Microsoft Office Software.

·      
Experience in SAP a plus

·      
Valid AZ Driver’s license with safe
driving history.

·      
Satisfactory results of criminal
background check resulting in no convictions related to the essential skills of
the position, to include

·      
ability to perform the job in an
ethical, safe, and secure manner.

·      
Must be able to obtain Forklift
certification

Schedule: 7a-3:30p M – F

Location:
Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $21 per
hour or DOE
