You will be the owner of two main radar units, Front Centre Radar and the Corner Radars. In this role you will be able to see the product through the whole process from sourcing to launch working with the supplier sourcing the components and seeing it into manufacturing.You will work on system level platform service functions such as Radar perception, power and thermal management and HW to SW interface specification. You will be required to have experience in module design, system functions delivery and managing suppliers and JLR project teams in order to deliver pre-defined projects within AAD to meet today’s delivery plans.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesResponsible to define platform services such as power management, HW to SW interface specifications, Radar perception specifications and also collaborate with Cyber Security and Diagnostics teams to define requirementsResponsible to deliver electronic control units for ADASDevelop, agree and deliver the product/functions on time with multiple suppliers, and manage conflict and negotiate between parties, where required, to maintain engagement whilst delivering against plan.Responsible for defining roadmaps for each type of control units or platform service functions and setting PI or Sprint goals for a teamWHAT YOU’LL NEEDYou will need experience in system level functions delivery, in automotive/aerospace domain – Use case definition to verificationExperience of full product cycle delivery – concept to production, including launch processes.You will need experience in end to end product development, including Mechanical, Electrical and Software Design would be helpful.Experience of programme management, meeting demanding timescales, quality targets, engineering specifications, budget controls and cost-effective delivery.Experience of iterative product development, incremental delivery of high-quality user stories and how to deliver a minimum viable product (MVP)SO WHY US?Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme.
