Maple Leaf Foods is Hiring Production & Sanitation WorkersWhat’s in it for you?

Production Labourer: responsible for performing packaging, clean-up and other elemental activities related to food processing.Responsibilities:

• Feed cartons into machines.
• Check and weigh materials and/or product.
• Manually pack product into bags, cartons or other containers.
• Remove finished goods cartons from conveyer and place on pallets.
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• Working with food production equipment.
• Using knives to perform cutting and trimming.

Sanitation Labourer: responsible for thouroughly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machinery, and work areas within a specified time frame.Responsibilities:

• Moving, lifting, and using long poles and hoses to support the sanitation processes.
• Working in close proximity to food grade and sanitation chemicals and high pressure hoses among other sanitation instruments.
• Work at various levels and heights to reach all work areas, use of ladders.
• Assembly and disassembly of equipment to clean all surfaces.
