DescriptionWe are currently hiring for a Midnight Production Supervisor from the injection moulding industry for the Milton areaProduction Supervisor Nights
Permanent opportunityNIGHT SHIFT: Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am. On Sundays will need to start 2 hours earlier
Pay Rate: $45-$50hrA few key points what we are looking for:
Injection Molding a MUST
Must be a strong leader
not a lot of movement on a resume and we look for tenure
Looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience is a supervisory role

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitoring employee performance and identifying areas of improvement. Up to 20 employees both full time and temp
• Providing training and overseeing the orientation of new employees to get them up to speed on the policies and procedures within the company
• Ensuring that team members who report to you meet performance expectations
• Addressing any concerns or issues identified by team members
• Organizing workflow and ensuring that team members understand their duties or delegated tasks
• Monitoring team member productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
• Responsible for plant start up on Sunday night, required to start 2 hrs prior to start of shift

Requirements

• Must have a background in injection molding
• Troubleshooting injection molding machines and auxillary equipment to ensure quality product is being produced
• 5 years’ proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive organizational skills
• Computer literacy
