What makes you weird?YOUR MISSIONReporting to the Production Lead, Production Team Members are responsible for anything and everything involved in making our delicious gelato, including (in this order): Safety, Quality and Creation of Righteous gelato and sorbetto.Production Team Members mix, flavour, fill, and package almost 12,000 pints of gelato a day! Other production duties include accurately filling out paperwork, tracking labeling, prepping product to be sent out to the lab for testing, and cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. Flexibility with schedules and tasks is expected when the unexpected occurs as well as the ability to do repetitive tasks.WHO ARE YOU?You’re the right person if you can deliver on the ten things that require zero talent:Being on timeWork ethicEffortBody languageEnergyAttitudePassionBeing coachableDoing extraBeing preparedWHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?A deep love for delicious frozen treats… for the Quality Assurance!Willingness to jump in and get your hands dirty – you’re ready to go above and beyond.A friendly, passionate, and positive spirit obsessed with keeping the vibes high.Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, nights, weekends and occasional overtime.Ability to stand for duration of shifts (up to 8 hours).Ability to lift 50 pounds.Strong communication skills, including the ability to perform basic math, reading and writing.Previous experience working in food manufacturing, production or in a kitchen is an asset but not required.Food Safe Certificate, Food Service Experience are assets but not required.A DAY IN THE LIFE – YOUR ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES:Live the brand and our 8 core virtues & evangelize our delicious creations with passion in everything you do.Demonstrate commitment and involvement in our pursuit of making the world more awesome through participation in our Social and Environmental programs, events, initiatives and goals.Follow Righteous Good Manufacturing and Hygiene Practices and Food Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.Do your part to ensure the team is able to run, pull, package up to 12,000 pints of gelato daily. This means you value strong teamwork, and are able to effectively participate and motivate others working within our team environment, but you’re also able to work and problem solve independently.Maintain a strong understanding of product knowledge, ingredients and allergens (we’ll teach you!)Train on and operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Clean and sanitize equipment.Complete all tasks as needed and as assigned for each shift including completion of all required documentation.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.THE PERKS?
