  • Provide governance and management of our tail spend solution.
  • Accountable for the tail spend provider performance and providing necessary oversight to our provider of sourcing services – savings delivery, KPI, SLAs, etc.
  • Accountable for delivering savings targets
  • Engage internal clients to identify and implement recommended changes and enhancements to improve user experience
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the tail spend provider relationship while strategically driving the vendor’s performance and identifying cost savings opportunities
  • Oversee the transition of services to tail spend solution partner and ongoing relationship management
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the tail spend solution while strategically driving the vendor’s performance and identifying cost savings opportunities
  • Interface and influence various senior level stakeholders and leaders within the organization
  • Maintain deep expertise of operations that are being outsourced to the tail spend provider and develop effective solutions to both operational and contractual problems
  • Oversee the coordination and incorporation of category strategies and playbooks in partnership with Sourcing and Procurement teams and tail spend solution
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Point of escalation and business / provider liaison for issues
  • The Tail Spend Sourcing Program Manager will collaborate closely with the Category Strategy Leads, Site/Regional Procurement and Purchase-Pay-Pay Shared Services colleagues to enable an end-to-end procurement process

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a technical major or business concentration
  • 5 years indirect sourcing, procurement or category management
  • Global / regional work experience across multiple category teams, site procurement and P2P shared services
  • Highly proficient in analytics, negotiations, program management and communications

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of tail spend management expertise
  • 5+ years working at a firm that provides Tail Spend solution
  • Vendor management
  • Procurement Operations / P2P
  • MBA
