  • The Professional Resource, as a member of the Cardiac Diagnostic ECG Team, is responsible and accountable for coordinating and directing activities in accordance with current standards of practice & scope of practice. This individual Is recognized as a technical & clinical specialist and maintains the expertise to coach team members in their professional practice
  • Responsible for ensuring the ECG Team is clinically sufficient and ensures appropriate standards (including equipment) are used for patient care across the team
  • Carries a clinical assignment (ECG, Stress Tests, Holter Hook Ups, and Holter Scanning) along with administrative activities such as scheduling, team concerns, and reaching out to clinicians as necessary
  • Responsible for on boarding new team members and medical staff as required
  • Lead transformative change in collaboration with Manager of Business, Quality and Cardio-Diagnostics to departmental processes
  • Responsible for all Cardiac ECG diagnostic testing and quality to ensure the safety to both the general public and all hospital staff

  • In consultation with the Manager is responsible for staff schedules in Cardiac Diagnostics-ECG

Qualifications

  • Certified (Diploma or Certificate) Cardiac ECG
  • Registered & certified with the CSCT or recognized equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant professional/technical/clinical and or leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience including administrative, project and safety responsibilities
  • Member of the College of CSCT or recognized equivalent
  • Must have certification in CPR with AED
