Program Coordinator – SECURITY POLSON Department, Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Polson, MT

The Environment of Care Coordinator oversees and evaluates safety programs especially related to the following disciplines according to The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS): general safety (inspections, accidents/incidents); life safety (fire drills, testing, inspections); utility management; security and workplace violence prevention, clinical medical equipment, laser safety, and radiation safety, and hazardous materials and waste management. The Environment of Care Coordinator is also responsible for the environment of care program development and coordinating complex projects associated with these programs, namely general safety, life safety, and emergency management.

Shift: Part- time, Day shift, 32 hours

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Coursework/Training HERT – Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Decontamination within 1 year of hire.
• within 6 months (180 days) of hire ICS 100, 200, 300, 700, 800.
• 5 years Administrative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree.
• within 2 years of hire Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents.
• 5 years Environment of Care experience.
• 1 year Project / committee work.
• 1 year Emergency Response experience.
