Employment is based on a person’s professional qualifications and competence.Your Role:The Program Coordinator plays a key role in all aspects of program support, including organizing and implementing student and faculty housing, overseeing student arrivals, orientation, excursions, activities, and assisting with student registration and support at local academic institutions.Additionally, the Program Coordinator manages placements within the Internship Program. This role supports students throughout their program, handling logistics and fostering cultural integration to ensure a seamless, enriching experience. Responsibilities also include administrative duties such as managing program materials and addressing accommodation-related concerns.What You’ll Do:Student and Faculty Housing

  • Research and evaluate housing options to augment CEA CAPA housing inventory.
  • Establish housing needs according to contracted program inclusions, budgets and student and faculty profiles
  • Participate in the housing placement process using CEA CAPA housing software.
  • Create and keep update files, documents, arrival packs, and supplies related to the housing department.
  • Participate in the preparation of student and faculty housing, check-in and check-outs and corresponding documentation
  • Liaise with housing vendors and maintain successful relationships.
  • Resolve housing issues and coordinate maintenance requests.

Program and Student Services

  • Contribute to sourcing, organizing and facilitating bookings for orientation, co-curricular activities and excursions for standard and custom programs
  • Establish opportunities for students to engage with local culture and language
  • Develop and participate in activities and excursions as assigned
  • Participate in event planning for events happening at the CEA CAPA Study Center
  • Conduct portions of student orientation as assigned
  • Be responsible for general office duties as assigned
  • Provide day to day advising and attention to students’ information and support needs (doctor appointments, general questions, required information)
  • Participate, encourage and assist students in areas of cultural adaptation, linguistic acquisition, and fulfillment of objectives during their program.
  • Participate in the CEA CAPA emergency cell phone rotation

Internship Program

  • Source local internship opportunities for CEA CAPA students
  • Establish internship placements based on compatibility and good fit for each internship student
  • Liaise with internship companies, CEA CAPA faculty, CEA CAPA headquarters and students to ensure successful experiences
  • Set up advising meetings with current students to ensure positive progress in internships

Student Affairs Support

  • Assist in sourcing, organizing and facilitating bookings for orientation, co-curricular activities and excursions for standard and custom programs
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of visits from third parties or student providers
  • Establish opportunities for students to engage with local culture and language
  • Develop and participate in activities and excursions as assigned
  • Conduct portions of student orientation as assigned
  • Be responsible for general office duties as assigned
  • Provide day to day advising and attention to students’ information and support needs (doctor appointments, general questions, required information)
  • Participate, encourage and assist students in areas of cultural adaptation, linguistic acquisition, and fulfillment of objectives during their program.

Contract Type: Full Time / 35 Hours. CDD for 6 monthsStart Date: January 2025What Makes a Great Candidate:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
  • University Degree (equivalent to Bachelor’s), Master’s preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in France.
  • Previous experience working in customer service.
  • Previous experience interacting with U.S. college students.
  • Previous study abroad experience.
  • Solid computer abilities (Microsoft Office and Internet proficiency).
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Work environment: CEA CAPA Center, Grenoble.
