If so, the Amazon Music Creative Operations team is looking for a talented, passionate Design Program Manager with a track record of strategic program delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement.Key job responsibilities
Program Management:

  • Define program vision, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with business goals
  • Establish comprehensive program plans, including roadmaps, stakeholder management strategies, and risk mitigation approaches
  • Facilitate cross-functional steering committees and design reviews to drive coordinated execution
  • Monitor program health metrics, identify and resolve roadblocks, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Continuously optimize program management processes and mechanisms to drive efficiency and agility

Workflow and Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with global creative, marketing, and content infrastructure teams to define streamlined content development workflows
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories
  • Champion the adoption of best practices and drive continuous improvements in creative operations

Stakeholder Engagement and Vendor Management:

  • Build trusted relationships with key marketing and industry partners, aligning on program objectives and potential optimizations
  • Manage vendor contracts, work orders, and purchase orders within your program budget
  • Serve as the central point of contact for external agency partners and internal project teams

We’re growing quickly and hiring the best talent to drive our creative vision forward. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Amazon Music Creative Operations team as a Design Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing key creative programs that span across our Content and Programming, Growth Marketing, and Music Industry teams. You will serve as a central program management hub, building the frameworks, governance structures, and cross-functional collaboration mechanisms required to successfully deliver on strategic creative initiatives.About the team
The Design Operations group is an embedded team within the Design organization, striving and focusing on creative operational excellence across all business verticals within the company. The DPM team is responsible for establishing the end-to-end workflow and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for creative collaboration with all marketing, product, and partner design teams. We set the standard for the process, earning trust with all partners, biasing for action when working within tight parameters, and using sound judgment to make decisions in areas of ambiguity or uncharted territories. Importantly, the Design Operations team also plays a key role in high-level reporting, defining and tracking key performance metrics, and maintaining comprehensive documentation on our operational processes and best practices. We partner closely with our creative counterparts on the Studio and Brand teams with the primary objective to enable the creation of bar-raising design for organization-wide global campaigns and launches.Work/Life Harmony

– – 4+ years of experience as a producer, program manager or similar role with interactive/ad agencies, design studios, production or Internet companies
– – A degree in program management or equivalent experience
– – Demonstrated experience with in-house or third-party project management and/or ticketing systems
– – Strong problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a tight deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to work on different projects simultaneously
– – Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– – Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from creative stakeholders
– – Basic knowledge of creative desktop design tools
