Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, and technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, we empower you to shape a brighter way forward so you can thrive professionally and personally.Amazon is a fast paced, demanding corporate environment and JLL is here to provide professional, service excellence.Working with the Facility Manager, the Visitor Landing Program Manager works closely with internal vendors and key stakeholders to facilitate and support local Amazon events taking place in key buildings within Amazon corporate offices.The Visitor Landing Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, facilitation and execution of top tier, high priority events providing support and an exceptional service to Amazonian event hosts. The role will be a main point of contact and will liaise with all cross-functional service coordinators (Facilities/AV/Security/Catering/etc.) to plan and deliver the event to the highest standard. Additionally, this role will be tasked with advising on top tier service standards and procedure drafting as they develop during the planning lifecycle.Primary Duties / Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for all elements of the end to end management of high-level special events as requested by the Amazon customer
  • Provide prompt and courteous response to Amazon employee and client requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL and Amazon Global Real Estate and Facilities
  • Maintain ethical, professional and courteous relations with contractors and employees and property management teams
  • Liaise with external contractors, e.g. janitorial, production crews and event hosts as well as arranging onsite amenities services
  • Functional supervision of event support staff (set-up crews, third party vendors)
  • Leads site visits, planning meetings and final details meetings with Amazon customer and supporting vendor partners
  • Resolve problems associated with all event services including but not limited to: janitorial, parking, conference rooms, interior furnishings, fixtures, equipment, local county/city requirements, etc.
  • Collate and communicate relevant event information from Amazonian hosts in regards to overall vision of the event, agenda, attendee list, content, external vendors and cross-functional services needs to create a holistic event delivery plan
  • Analytical Reasoning – using analysis of today’s meeting and event data for future event delivery
  • Perform as a team member with all employees
  • Assisting in the planning and hosting of the occasional GREF-related event as needed
  • Recommend new policies and procedures necessary to clearly define event support of high-level events in high profile areas
  • Establishes and provides clarity to existing policies and procedures relating to Events Team support
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, service levels, and streamline work process
  • Identifying opportunities for improving team communication and efficiency
  • Prepare proposals and presentations
  • Assist with Facilities team communications and coordination of response activity during emergencies if deemed reasonable and prudent, and as trained by supervisor
  • Comply with all company and regional policies
  • Flexible hours: Must be willing to work nights, evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by program delivery manager

Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • You are keen to develop within the workplace, spending time supporting cross- functional teams and gaining knowledge and expertise
  • You have experience in Events management working within the events, hospitality, tourism, event planning, entertainment or similar industries
  • You keep up-to-date with industry trends and have high interest in Facilities and Events management and excellent customer service
  • You are adept at multitasking and are able to manage multiple projects effectively that may vary from day to day
  • You can meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to solve problems with professionalism and a service focused approach
  • You can work unsupervised and take proactive action to resolve issues on your own
  • You are open and have excellent communication skills, fostering effective working relations with a wide range of internal, client and external contacts

Experience

  • 8-10 years of event management or hospitality related experience
  • History of working within entertainment industry culture and standards
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Visio or CAD experience preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Positive, professional, customer-service oriented personality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, at times, with little direction

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred

Estimated total compensation range for this position is:70,400.00 – 102,100.00 USD per yearThe pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.
