Job responsibilities include:

  • Communicates effectively with customers, property owners, managers, tenants, subcontractors, and insurance adjusters.
  • Assists Project Manager with project cycle from initiation to completion, addressing questions and concerns throughout the project.
  • Ensures accuracy of project documentation and uploads into claims systems.
  • Obtain work authorization, completion certificates, and other required documents from clients.
  • Completes work order tasks and purchase orders promptly.
  • Invoices accurately in line with client protocols.
  • Supports outstanding receivables.
  • Acts as a liaison between customer and Project Manager.
  • Tracks project changes and produces updated schedules.
  • Coordinates mitigation/restoration work with in-house staff and sub-trades.
  • Prepares and edits internal scopes of work, estimates, budgets, letters, faxes, memos, and emails.
  • Files all project documents appropriately.
  • Submits required information to the client as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Reports file related issues to the Project Manager.
  • Provides short-term project coverage.

Required Qualifications:

  • This position is an in-office position only.
  • Post secondary business administration, project management courses / certification
  • Previous construction, restoration or Insurance experience considered an asset
  • Manage sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer and/or tablet/iPad experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Google Suite, Xactimate/XactAnalysis, JD Edwards and Docusphere
  • Self-driven to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Criminal Record Check
