Bring your leadership experience to this role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading shipping company in Cold Spring, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Quality Control Supervisor role. This position works a 12-hour shift, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $26.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as the Quality Control Supervisor:

• Supervise quality testing and documentation across production plants
• Collaborate with quality, batching, and production teams to meet quality requirements
• Update policies, SOPs, and quality forms with the Quality Manager
• Act as the main contact for product quality issues with customers and vendors
• Conduct shift meetings to share safety and quality updates
• Ensure staffing meets production quality needs
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards
• Create and update lab SOPs and production sheets

What you need to become the Quality Control Supervisor:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or biochemistry preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of analytical and microbial testing
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Experience with SAP, GMP, HACCP regulations, and inventory management systems preferred
• Experience in a leadership role within Quality Control in food/beverage production preferred
