Quality Control Technician Job Duties:
Job
Duties
- Conduct GMP inspections and monitor
employee hygiene and facility conditions. - Develop and maintain cleaning
procedures for equipment and facility. - Assist with monthly Food Safety
Training material prepared by the Quality Department. - Develop and revise SSOPs pertaining
to quality responsibilities. - Perform organoleptic testing on
finished product goods. - Periodically verify that expiration
dates are within range for raw materials and approved chemicals. - Perform monthly Internal Facility
Audit Inspections and follow up with Corrective Actions. - File records and verify records’
accuracy in the Quality Office, including Quality, Sanitation, and Production
records.
Quality Control Technician Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of previous Quality Control experience
- Working knowledge of regulatory
requirements (i.e., FDA, USDA, Drug Residue, etc.) - Strong understanding of Facility
Quality Systems (i.e., HACCP, Weight Control, etc.) - Good working knowledge of GMP regulations?
Schedule:
- Must be available to work Mandatory Overtime on Saturdays and Sundays when necessary, depending on the production schedule. May include some Holidays.
- Hours may vary per day or as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
Shifts
: Approx 10 hours
- 1st Shift: Start time 4 am-2 pm
- 2nd Shift: Start time 10 am-8 pm
Pay:
- $23-$24 DOE
