Quality Technician 1 Or 2

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Technician 1 or 2 to join a fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector at their cutting-edge facility in Burlington, WA. This company specializes in designing, engineering, and manufacturing innovative solar panel products for distribution throughout North America.

In this Direct Hire Quality Technician I or II position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and services. As a Quality Technician II, you will bring advanced expertise in quality control and assurance processes.

Quality Technician 1 or 2 Job Responsibilities:  

• Inspect output samples and ensure adherence to standards, legal requirements, and Work Instructions (WI).
• Review blueprints and specifications, and conduct testing at various manufacturing stages.
• Record inspection results, summarize re-works and waste, and input data into the quality database.
• Train production teams on quality control measures and support them with quality and process issues.
• Propose process improvements, monitor equipment safety, and verify calibration accuracy.
• Compile statistical quality data and create reports for management, suggesting enhancements as needed.? 

Quality Technician 1 or 2 Schedule:  

• 12 hour shifts (6am – 6pm)  
• 2,2,3 Pitman schedule
• 36 hour week/48 hour week – have weekends off for half the year!

Quality Technician 1 or 2 Pay:

• $23 – $26 per hour
• OT available

Quality Technician 1 or 2 Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet knows when to ask for help.
• Proven proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and Excel programs, and statistical software packages.
• Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques.
• Works well within a team environment.
• Works well independently, and within a team environment.
• Manufacturing experience in a technical role
• Previous PV module manufacturing experience, preferred.
