Setsquare is actively hiring for a Quantity Surveyor for a long term contract based in Woolwich.Job title : Quantity Surveyor

Project sector : Health-care projectEssential Experience:
- Cost control, planning, forecasting and estimation
- Understanding and contributing to development of client requirements through the RIBA lifecycle
- Valuations – including value engineering and management
- Experience of JCT Design & Build and/or NEC 3/4 contractual frameworks and methods
- Feasibility studies
- Cost benefit analysis
- Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
- Risk analysis evaluations
- Dispute resolution
- Managing project funding sources and submitting bids
- Improving procurement processes and workflow procedures in Oracle NetSuite and QBT’s proprietary system
- Improving build costs and developing cost estimating capabilities
- Ability to use Cost-X and knowledge/experience of Autodesk BIM 360 or Revit software
Key skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Team worker with good interpersonal, behavioural and collaboration skills
- Organised and methodological with a keen eye for detail
- IT skills and highly proficient with Microsoft software
- Maths skills / numerically & analytically minded
