Are you a proactive and experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to lead and thrive in a challenging role?Our client is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to oversee a significant multi million pound infrastructure project. If you’re ready to make your mark in the construction industry, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a major infrastructure project, managing works including drainage, ducting, roads, hard landscaping, and elements of blockwork.
  • Ensure monthly applications are submitted on time and meet high standards.
  • Negotiate and agree on monthly applications with the client’s Quantity Surveyor.
  • Record and value all additional works accurately.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and re-measure from drawings.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and subcontractors effectively.
  • Monitor site progress against the program and identify any potential delays.
  • Keep track of costs and ensure they are within the agreed budget.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 9 GCSEs (grades A-C), including Maths and English.
  • A degree qualification, ideally in a construction-related field.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
