Radiographer – Steel

As part of the Radiographer team, you’d work with aerospace molds and operate x-ray equipment to take images of metal castings. It’s a temporary-to-hire job that offers a full benefits package upon permanent hire, quarterly bonuses, and career growth opportunities.

Radiographer Job Duties:

• Reviews instructions and and requests to accurately set up metal castings for x-ray’s to be taken
• Inspects and maintains condition of film by following proper handling techniques
• Operates x-ray machine control panels and equipment to take images of multiple views of castings
• Regularly conducts more than one radiographic examination concurrently, and is expected to be able to operate all machines
• Checks samples of radiographs on each casting for imperfections and flaws and makes changes within customer and PCC specifications
• Records any changes made; reshoots exposure when needed

Schedules:

• Train on a day shift of Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Shift is to be determined once training is completed.

Radiographer Requirements:

• 3-6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to wear PPE: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be comfortable exercising basic math skills
• Must have High school diploma or GED

Pay: $25.32 per hour
