We are looking for a Radiology Supervisor – CT & Diagnostic Imaging Center to lead a team of skilled professionals in delivering excellent care while managing the daily operations of our CT and Diagnostic Imaging services. The Radiology Supervisor will oversee the delivery of health care services, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This position manages both human and physical resources to achieve established standards in the radiologic sciences. The supervisor will adjust operations to meet a changing work environment and collaborate with the leadership team to maintain the department’s alignment with Baptist Health’s organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the CT and Diagnostic Imaging Center, ensuring all procedures meet quality standards.
  • Ensure quality imaging and patient care, supervising the production of images for radiologist review.
  • Perform and monitor quality control (QC) on equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accreditation standards.
  • Lead patient care activities, including verifying orders, monitoring patients during exams, and ensuring proper radiation protection.
  • Supervise and train radiology staff, including technologists and students, to ensure professional and ethical standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, licensing, and facility requirements.
  • Monitor equipment and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and reporting of malfunctions.
  • Work with clinical teams to manage patient scheduling, transport, and exam coordination.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, and performance evaluations for new staff.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Imaging Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in radiology or imaging services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (RT(R)), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification in Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, or equivalent.
  • Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
