SummaryJob Title – Rail Equipment EngineerLocation – GlasgowWorking hours – Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, 42 hours per weekSpeedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job!Based in the depot, the Rail Engineer is a key role to Speedy’s supply of rail tools and equipment; ensuring service schedules are up to date and repairing faulty rail equipment as necessary to ensure it remains available for hire.What you’ll need:

• Strong mechanical skills and able to use tools effectively
• Repairing any faulty equipment to maintain availability for hire
• Must hold a current Sentinel card
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written
• Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers
• Commitment to learn and develop
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
