We have one of the lowest work week hours in the business with set schedules and two days off in a row (with very occasional exceptions) **Rampart’s Tavern & Grill, in Alexandria, VA seeks an experienced part-time Front of House Manager.Rampart’s Tavern & Grill is a lively neighborhood hangout with over 200 beers and wines, a diverse menu, and great specials.The ideal candidate has a guest-first mentality. You show initiative and leadership while simultaneously being a great team player (you excel at establishing great relationships with guests and team members).Company culture:

Job title:

• Front of House Manager

Compensation:

• $225 per full shift

• 3 to 4 afternoons/nights a week
• Set schedule TBD

Language requirements:

• English

Must have experience:

• 2+ years of previous Manager, Server, and/or Bartender experience in a casual full-service restaurant with a bar (hotels not included)
• American cuisine familiarity
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff education, training, and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Staff scheduling
• Managing 15 – 20 people
