As a Real Estate Specialist, you will help the team in the development and implementation of the global real estate strategy.In this position you will have to support our local entities (+90 offices in 30 countries) in their local initiatives, with different level of involvement depending on the level of local expertise.Your main mission will be to do real estate project management, which means supporting our entities from, market research, site selection, build business cases, to negotiation and lease negotiations. It means also mitigate risks by making sure all projects are following the frame of the global real estate rules and process.Your mains tasks are:

  • Carry out real estate studies including, such as market studies and trends, internal/external benchmark
  • In partnership with the local team, participate to the definition of the needs and the structuration of the project with support from other central teams such as IT and Security
  • Orchestrate project management and involve the adequate stakeholders such as Finance, Security, IT, Workplace and Legal
  • Build strong business cases taking into account OPEX (mainly real estate and facility management costs) and CAPEX (mainly construction/fit out/IT costs)
  • Lead financial and contract/lease negotiation with landlords in full collaboration with the local entity and external lawyers
  • For the projects led by the Global Real Estate team, prepare and manage project presentation to a large audience with relevant stakeholders from different departments,
  • Anticipate lease renewals following an annual roadmap and support local entities in their long-term real estate strategy
  • Provide regular visibility on ongoing projects, status and risks through effective and consistent reporting and budget/savings tracking,
  • Contribute to transversal initiatives and the improvement of real estate department’s tools & processes,
  • Implement environmental initiatives in collaboration with CSR departments to improve the environmental footprint of the group portfolio.

QualificationsTo succeed in this position, you have to have a strong experience on a similar position or in a buyer position, with an international dimension, acquired by working in a corporate real estate department or as advisor for clients (tenant representation).If you feel up to the challenge and can relate to the experience and qualities listed below, then don’t hesitate any longer!

  • You are recognized for your professional efficiency and your capacity to challenge needs, projects, people
  • You are comfortable in leading high stakes/high impact projects such as lease renegotiation, move, closing/opening locations, buy/sale building
  • You have excellent communication/sales and negotiation skills and this ability to work with different level of management,
  • You are excellent in building financial models/assumptions and business cases in order to structure deals
  • You have experience in project management, problem-solving, financial and legal skills
  • You are comfortable working on multiple projects and an ability to think out the box
  • You are fluent in English, you are used to working in an international environment and able to think global / act local
