DESCRIPTIONJoin our Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Manager supporting our dynamic Advertising Sales organization. In this strategic role, you will partner with Ad Sales leadership to develop and execute hiring strategies aligned with business objectives. The Amazon Advertising team is one of the fastest growing organizations within Amazon. Amazon Ads helps brands design ad experiences that delight customers and deliver meaningful results. With our first-party insights, 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, Amazon properties, and third-party publishers and exchanges – brands can reach the right audiences in the right places, both on and off Amazon. This year plan forecasts growth across a number of different teams within the organization. As a result, we’re adding a new Recruiting Manager to the organization.
We’re looking to hire a Recruiting Manager, that will be supporting one or more Kotas directs hiring. Recruiting the right candidates for Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. The team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, innovative, and motivating Recruiting Manager with strong business acumen, client relationship skills, and an ability to think big and bring to fruition new strategies around how we engage and activate technical niche talent. This Manager will work closely with business leadership in North America, while also acting as a global point of contact for all hiring done for these businesses globally.
This role will provide the opportunity to significantly shape and own how we think about scaling technical hiring across not only this org, but others within the portfolio. There is significant opportunity to grow both yourself and a number of leaders and recruiters within the team.Key job responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Build TA team capability to proactively source and build diverse candidate pools that will fulfill our client’s annual hiring demand.
- Act as a global TA lead for these lines of business and partner closely with international TA leaders to ensure we are hiring the best talent globally and delivering the right results for the business in each region.
- Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Market Intelligence Leaders, and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing leaders in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
- Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
- Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree • 6+ years of Recruiting and/or HR experience • 2+ years leading a team • Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team • Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred qualifications • Tech Recruiting leadership experience • Adept at creating reports, interpreting metrics and driving overall insights/analysis. • Experience managing senior staff, recruiting managers and channel partner teams • Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results-oriented environment • Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI • Workforce planning experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
