Job Description | Recruitment AdvisorDepartment: Human ResourcesLocation: GlasgowThis role supports our Middle East offices and requires a work pattern of 7.30am – 3.30pm.The TeamWe have specialist teams in Recruitment, Learning and Development, and HR Operations. The HR department are based in offices across the MEA region, working as one team to deliver a holistic service to our fee earning and business services groups, further supported by the GBS team in Glasgow.The focus of the Recruitment Advisor role is to work with the MEA Recruitment team to facilitate fee earner & business services recruitment for the firm across the MEA offices.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with HRBPs and Hiring Managers to fill fee earner & business services vacancies across the MEA region and liaise with the Recruitment Manager regarding recruitment strategies for specific roles, adhering to fair selection policies and accessible to all.
  • Identify high calibre individuals to join Clyde & Co by using direct sourcing, market mapping and research, using best practice research methods.
  • Building out a pipeline of future talent through ongoing candidate networking in the market.
  • Screen profiles/ review CVs and provide detailed, high-quality shortlists. Demonstrating an understanding the different qualification routes and jurisdictions.
  • Provide recruitment advice and feedback to hiring managers regarding their recruitment needs, identifying and escalating any issues to the Recruitment Manager.
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of legal market trends and salary data, including nationalization requirements or similar across the region.
  • Responsible for recruitment procedures including (but not limited to) ensuring correct recruitment sign-off and creation of job descriptions that will be advertised on the company website, LinkedIn and other sites
  • Regularly review job boards, and other social media platforms that can be used to identify and source new talent.
  • Maintain up to date information for regular reporting on our in-house agency tracker.
  • Support and cover colleagues work as and when required.
  • Proactively contribute to and support ad hoc resourcing project/ process improvements as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven recruitment experience, ideally gained within the legal or professional services sector.
  • Ability to advise and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach with a supportive, client delivery focused work ethic.
  • Excellent recruitment experience using an ATS (applicant tracking system) and experience of direct sourcing using LinkedIn.
  • Highly organised and a good planner with an ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively should those deadlines vary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility over all work undertaken with a commitment to supporting the wider needs of a project and not just the immediate task.
  • Team player with a willingness to work collaboratively across the wider Recruitment & HR team.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and pro-active with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast moving environment.
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and administration skills with the ability to manage, update and own our recruitment data for the purposes of reporting.
