As part of the Cabin Crew recruitment team your role will deliver a seamless recruitment experience for the Emirates Group in country (United Kingdom), from sourcing to hiring, ensuring candidates align with our values and are capable of excelling in their roles. - Plan & Execute: Develop yearly recruitment plans for assigned departments.
- Campaign Support: Manage volume recruitment for Cabin Crew both locally and globally.
- Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate to choose the best recruitment channels (IVN, job boards, LinkedIn, etc.) and leverage technology to identify top candidates.
- Selection Expertise: Recommend and implement effective recruitment methodologies (e.g., assessment centres) and guide hiring managers in making informed decisions.
- Relationship Building: Maintain professional relationships both internally and externally, including candidates, ensuring a positive experience and adherence to best practices.
- Market Insight: Provide regional expertise on market trends and employment practices to promote Emirates as an employer of choice.
- Continuous Improvement: Offer insights and recommendations to enhance recruitment performance and efficiency.
- Community Engagement: Engage with hospitality schools and represent Emirates at career events.
- Agency Management: Oversee recruitment agencies to ensure they uphold Emirates Group’s standards and brand image.
- Administrative Support: Handle all recruitment-related administrative tasks efficiently.
- 12 yrs schooling or equivalent and +5 years of recruitment experience in-house or agency recruiter
- OR Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) and + 2 years of recruitment experience (in-house or agency) or 2+ years as Cabin Crew
Knowledge/skills:
- Desirable: CIPD or any other HR professional certification
- Must be able to travel to cover recruitment campaigns.
- Experience with various selection processes (Digital Assessments, video interviewing, telephone interviewing, reference checks)
- Ability to conduct interviews using a behavioural competency framework
- Ability to organise skills assessment centres (In tray activities, work samples, presentation topics)
- Ability to formulate and maintain strategic relationships with local partnership organisations i.e. hospitality schools and recruitment agencies
- In depth understanding for regional best practice and recruitment trends within their chosen region, with demonstrable experience for driving performance improvement
- Demonstrable experience of using dashboard tools to monitor key recruitment metrics, enabling informed decision-making and timely adjustments to strategies.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all processes.
- Familiarity with HR databases, ATS systems and CMS Systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and fluent in English. Additional languages are desirable.
