Two exciting opportunities have arisen for a Recruitment Manager (1x Permanent & 1x 12 month Mat-Cover)who is highly driven and motivated, to become part of the HR Workforce department at one of the largest and most prestigious NHS organisations to join our Clinical & Senior Management Recruitment team.Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Manager, the post holder will be jointly responsible for the operational delivery of a central comprehensive recruitment service for a staff group or group of staff groups, in accordance with service level agreements and Trust policies.A competent user of both the ESR and TRAC systems, the post holders will deliver advice and support to hiring managers, applicants and recruitment colleagues on all aspects of recruitment functions, including Recruitment policy and processes, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of recruitment campaigns and projects; ensuring compliance with employment and right to work legislation and Trust policies.The post holder will role model excellent customer service, working with the recruitment team in order to provide a positive customer (applicant and hiring manager) experience while ensuring an efficient, reliable and responsive central recruitment and selection service, that contributes to the development of the recruitment service as a centre of excellence.Closing Date: Wednesday 9th October, at midnightInterviews: Thursday 24th OctoberMain duties of the jobThe post holders will hold overall management of the recruitment areas and campaigns for one of the transactional recruitment teams within the Trust.The post holders will be responsible for the leadership and day to day line management of a small recruitment team made up of Recruitment Co-ordinators and Recruitment Assistants within their area of responsibility.Such a role supports the Senior Recruitment Manager, Resourcing Partners and Head of Recruitment in reducing vacancy rates and contributes to the development and growth of the service as a whole.About usGuy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust comprises five of the UK’s best known hospitals – Guy’s, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield – as well as community services in Lambeth and Southwark, all with a long history of high quality care, clinical excellence, research and innovation.We provide specialist care for patients including heart and lung, cancer and renal services as well as a full range of local hospital and community services.We have a long tradition of clinical and scientific achievement and – as part of King’s Health Partners – we are one of England’s eight academic health sciences centres, bringing together world-class clinical services, teaching and research.We have one of the National Institute for Health Research’s biomedical research centres, established with King’s College London in 2007, as well as dedicated clinical research facilities.We have around 22,700 staff, making us one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country and one of the biggest employers locally.
