Through close collaboration with hiring managers, a commitment to innovative practices, and authentic storytelling, we ensure that our candidate attraction and recruitment aligns with and supports the overall strategic goals of the business.We are now recruiting a 6 months FTC for a recruiter to work in-house based at our Syston, Leicester Support Centre (hybrid working arrangements). Your role will be to recruit for roles across our Finance, Insight & Analytics and Digital teams.The role will report to the Senior Manager for the Recruitment team.Find your happy placeDunelm is committed to becoming a fully inclusive business that is representative of our customers and locations.   • Manage the end to end recruitment process, including advertising roles, sourcing candidates, application screening, co-ordinating the interview process, offer management and candidate feedback. Always ensuring a positive candidate experience from application stage to offer/regret.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to define roles, write job descriptions and create job adverts.
  • Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline for your departments across all levels of roles, maximising the use of social channels, networking, searching, advertising and internal colleague referrals.
  • Support the end to end recruitment process for the annual Early Careers programmes we run for your departments. This includes supporting recruitment assessment centres in partnership with your hiring teams.
  • Develop and coach hiring managers on Recruitment processes to ensure that the hiring manager journey and candidate journey is seamless at Dunelm.
  • Working with our Employer Brand team, continuously looking for new and innovative ways to enhance our employment proposition to help attract the best talent to our business.
  • Maintain timely communication with the Hiring Manager throughout the recruitment process.
  • Working with the Employer Brand team to produce engaging content to be used on our social channels, that provides a useful insight of life in the team and helps build brand awareness.
  • Participating in recruitment projects, including diversity attraction, process improvements, and enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Responsible for budgeting and saving on cost per hire.
  • Produce quality MI information to measure resourcing performance for the departments you partner.
  • Plan and attend industry specific events that will increase Dunelm’s reach for future talent.
  • Build and maintain a preferred supplier list (PSL), managing successful relationships with all vendors.

  • Builds effective and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to enable the delivery of a recruitment strategy.
  • Experience of meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Enjoy working as part of a recruitment team, sharing ideas, best practice, referrals etc.
  • Strong organisation and process management skills – keeping things simple and efficient.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Resilient and a creative mind, enjoying the challenge of recruiting vacancies that have a limited candidate talent pool.
