In this role, you will play a crucial part in processing patient referrals, helping to ensure a smooth transition for clients and minimal disruption to our services.CARE ADHD is scaling rapidly, creating exciting opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects. - Accurately processing large volumes of referrals we receive to help ensure our clients receive the support they need as soon as possible.
- Reviewing referral information to ensure all necessary details are complete and correct.
- Occasionally contacting clients, GPs, or other healthcare providers to obtain any missing information required for accurate processing.
- Maintaining high standards of data accuracy and compliance..
- Ensuring referrals are correctly allocated to the appropriate teams or departments.
- Supporting the team in tracking the status of referrals and following up where necessary to ensure all records are complete.
RequirementsWhat you need to succeed in this role:
- A strong attention to detail and solid experience working in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- The ability to match speed with quality and accuracy when adding patient data into our systems.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in emailing healthcare providers and clients.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring the efficient processing of referrals.
- Able to pick up technology quickly and efficiently.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to escalate issues when necessary and ensure data accuracy at all times.
It’s a great bonus if you have:
- Experience working with electronic patient records (EPR) systems such as EMIS.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and practices.
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting or start-up environment.
