To ensure the efficient management of an in-house and 3rd party national repair network. To make decisions on the best and most cost effective route for repairs whilst ensuring SLA and operator’s licence adherence and compliance.Job Description:At a glance:Role: Regional Maintenance ControllerPosition: PermanentLocation: BracknellHours: 35 Hours Per Week: This is a Full Time position – Rota’d between 7am and 7pm (Some Saturday working will be required)Salary: The salary range for this role is: £29,500.00 – 39,400.00, annualPlease note: This role is based in Bracknell, and will require a blend of office and home working, across shift patternsWhat you’ll be doing:Handling calls and taking responsibility for repairs and vehicle related issues from branchesResponsible for cost control, issuing order numbers and challenging repair costs from external suppliersControlling all repairs relating to maintenance, defect, accident repair, tyres, windscreens etc Directing repairs to the most appropriate supplier, maximising the use of in-house workshopsMonitoring the performance of all suppliers (including in-house workshops) to benchmark costs and service levelsEnsuring that the vehicle fleet adheres to the scheduled maintenance, MOT, service, safety inspection and refrigeration regimeProviding Branch support and educationWhat you’ll need:Knowledge and understanding of basic vehicle maintenancePrevious experience in the Motor tradeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)What else you may bring:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in vehicle maintenanceFull UK Driving LicenceKnowledge of FMS systems (Kerridge or R2C)Knowledge and understanding of vehicle refrigerationUnderstanding of accident damage repairs and reporting systemsWe believe in rewarding our Partners for their time and energy.
