Full time Regional Medical Director (DVM) – Urgently Hiring + Superior Salary – Richmond, Virginia areaWe are looking for a full-time DVM to join our partner hospital team as a Regional Medical Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, as well as experience in leadership and management.The Regional Medical Director will be responsible for the overall medical care of our animals, as well as the training and development of our veterinary staff. The position will also require the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities of the Regional Medical Director include:Developing and implementing medical policies and proceduresOverseeing the medical care of animalsTraining and developing veterinary staffManaging the budget for the medical departmentWorking with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hospitalQualifications for the Regional Medical Director include:DVM degree from an accredited veterinary schoolAt least 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarianExperience in leadership and managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
