A Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing intraoperative care to the surgical patient. The ST will collaborate with the Circulating RN to set up for surgical procedures with proper instrumentation/equipment & supplies – with the primary duty of passing instruments and assisting the surgeon at the sterile field. We have multiple positions available for candidates looking for experience in an Ophthalmology setting!Available Shifts/Locations: We are currently hiring for our Boston campus (243 Charles Street) shifts to include full-time and part-time, varying schedules.Qualifications – Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.– Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts.– A minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical Nursing experience is preferred.– Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas.– Demonstrates leadership activities; able to work under stressful situation; and possesses well developed verbal and written communication skills.– Membership in a professional nursing organization desired.
