You will  also raise flags and find workarounds where challenges are encountered, help identify and support continuous improvement and best practices in the change delivery life cycle.You will be responsible for creating reporting, tracking audit/regulatory issues and actions to closure with appropriate oversight and governance from Technical and Chief Data Office leaders and Subject Matter Experts.To be successful as a Regulatory Retrievals Manager you should have:
- Extensive experience working in technology, operations and regulatory integration projects with knowledge and adherence to programme and change management processes and methodology.
- Experience working in a data-led environment.
- Understanding of both the regulatory frameworks and the products and services offered by large, complex financial institutions like Barclays and globally regulated entities.
- Ability to work with colleagues at Senior Manger level, strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- Compliance, Controls, Regulatory Relations experience.
- Ability to manage complex, evolving parameters under time pressure and identify potential solutions by exploring and analysing diverse alternatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, being an advocate for managing change initiatives efficiently and effectively and in line with our Policies and Standards.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is based in London.Purpose of the roleTo drive the bank’s data strategy and maximising the value of its data assets by overseeing all aspects of data and records management. ÂAccountabilities
- Development and implementation of Barclays Data & Records Management strategy aligned with the bank’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Defining and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Development and implementation of data management systems and technologies.
- Driving a consistent approach for managing and using data across the business.
- Partnering with stakeholders to drive improvements in the understanding, use and quality of data.

- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
- Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
