- Experience working in large, enterprise environments, including managing Linux systems related to Oracle and SAP applications and databases
- Experience managing systems in an AWS environment
- Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various Linux distros (Oracle Enterprise Linux, RHEL, SUSE, CentOS)
- Knowledge and experience in administrating applications operating within clustered environments in a Linux environment
- Knowledge and Experience Ability writing technical design and build documentation for all aspects of Linux infrastructure
- Experience in system monitoring tools and techniques for supporting Linux operations, alerting, and remediation
- Strong skills in HANA administration
- Experience with SAP and third-party systems running on Linux, Unix Shell scripting
- Experience in performance optimization of SAP systems
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor system performance
- Manage and monitor batch processing
- Maintain batch job schedule parameters
- Alert consultants of failed batch jobs
- Manage and schedule transport jobs
- Manage and maintain SAP printer environment
- Manage and maintain SSL certificates
- Maintain Hana DB by performing patch and service stack upgrades
- Maintain application servers by performing patch and kernel upgrades
- Interact/assist project teams troubleshooting issues
- Interact/assist project teams with implementation of new projects
- Perform system refreshes of the lower-level environments
- Liaison with the NTT support team. NTT perform managed services
- Perform system shutdown/startup routines during maintenance windows
- Interact/assist user base with day-to-day issues
- Investigate why they didn’t receive their email
- Investigate why they didn’t get their printout
- Investigate why they couldn’t log on
- Manage and maintain SAP user definitions
- Create new users
- Terminate users
- Process password reset requests
- Maintain security roles assigned to users
- Provide support and evidence for yearly SOX review
