- Performance: Lead, mentor and guide the virtual sales team by setting clear goals, expectations and performance benchmarks.
- Hiring & Training: Recruit and train qualified sales professionals, equipping them with company policies, sales techniques and product knowledge while providing ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Support: Advocate for team members’ professional growth by providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
- Culture: Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing, growth-focused team culture emphasizing continuous improvement.
- Strategy: Implement and execute creative strategic sales plans to align with and achieve organizational goals.
- Reports: Monitor team performance, analyze results and deliver detailed reports to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for optimization.
Expectations for Success
- Total Sales: Monitor revenue generated to ensure alignment with company targets.
- Close Rate: Track the percentage of leads converted into successful sales to gauge team effectiveness.
- Average Dollar per Sale: Evaluate average revenue per transaction to assess upselling and customer value.
