We’re hiring a Hoist Installation & Servicing Engineer for a well-established client in Oxfordshire! 🔧💼 Position: Hoist Installation & Servicing Engineer
📍 Location: Oxfordshire (Field-based, various sites)
💰 Salary: Competitive – based on experience
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duty
📆 Job Type: PermanentKey responsibilities will include:🛠 Installing ceiling track hoists, stair lifts, and other mobility equipment
📐 Surveying properties & liaising with healthcare professionals to plan installations
🔧 Carrying out servicing, repairs, and testing of equipment
♻️ Collecting and removing equipment from service users’ homes
🆘 Responding to emergency out-of-hours calls (rota basis)
📋 Completing job paperwork, using scanners, and updating documentation
🚐 Maintaining your work vehicle and van stock levels
🧰 Looking after tools and reporting any issues
💬 Communicating with supervisors about job or product concernsAbout You:✅ Strong DIY skills and mechanical aptitude
📏 Knowledge of building construction a bonus
🗣 Excellent communication and teamworking skills
🧭 Able to work independently and follow detailed procedures
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence required
🎓 Qualification in carpentry, electronics or engineering preferred
