Salary Range: $50, 669.00 – $63, 336.00 per annum: To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy

Closing Date: August 12, 2024Position SummaryAs an integral member of the Radiation Medicine Program (RMP) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, the Research Analyst I undertakes an array of administrative research tasks to support the research portfolio of the program. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, possess good data storage and reporting skills, and have the capacity to prioritize, plan, and organize their work. In this role, the incumbent will update investigator CVs, proactively track programmatic research outputs, support departmental reporting, support grant applications, and undertake knowledge translation activities.Duties

  • Organize and maintain CVs of staff in a variety of formats
  • Facilitate the production of complex documents and materials, including progress reports
  • Assist RMP Research Strategy Development Specialist in preparing and submitting research grant applications and scientific abstracts and manuscripts
  • Develop, organize and maintain electronic systems for research metrics
  • Plan and coordinate research meetings and events
  • Assist the RMP Director of Research and Manager, Program Development & Strategic Partnerships in the overall coordination of various scientific and research pursuits
  • Support the development and implementation of novel knowledge translation activities
  • Liaise with other administrative and research support staff on various related activities
  • Perform cross-functional responsibilities and other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • At minimum, completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Commerce or Science or recognized equivalent required.
  • At minimum, up to and including 1 year practical and related experience is required.
  • Related experience working in a lab or clinical administrative program in an academic or healthcare field is required
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems, patient scheduling systems/software is required
  • Experience using statistical analysis and data management software applications (e.g. EndNote, Power BI) is preferred
  • Experience or knowledge of ResearchNet and CIHR Canadian Common CV (CCV) is an asset
  • Experience with Radiology Information Systems is preferred.
  • Experience with knowledge translation and understanding of best practices is preferred
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills is required
  • Ability to manage competing demands of short and long-term projects led by numerous individuals, directing multiple varied assignments, independently coordinating and prioritizing relevant projects, tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
