The Research Associate will conduct research work to include experimental and simulation activities in the Applied Catalysis lab and the Fuel Characterization lab.

Required Education and Experience:
Appropriate bachelors.
Two years of related professional experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
Research – Perform research work in advancing the CARGEN both in the Applied Catalysis Lab and the Fuel Characterization Lab. The activities will include experimental and simulation activities, and the candidate will coordinate with the collaborators and the sponsors.
Laboratory Management – Support Fuel Characterization Lab and projects in fuels and chemicals on CARGEN project in the catalysts synthesis and the reactor testing campaign.
Laboratory Safety – Ensure safety in experimental activities in both labs and will support Primary Investigator in the development of the PSA and improve further the safety culture.
Publication & Presentation – Prepare conference and journal papers, and actively participate in preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors.
