We are looking for temporary partners to help us deliver the service we are famous for. As one of the following roles, you’ll be part of something really special, working as part of a diverse team where you are free to be yourself.Selling Assistant: Your day will be varied, from delivering service with a smile at the till to helping customers with their online orders. You will be an ambassador for the John Lewis & Partners brand and you’ll delight in going above and beyond to exceed our customers expectations.You’ll proactively engage with customers on the shop floor to help them find and fall in love with our beautiful products and unique services.Stock Assistant: Your journey starts with stock arriving at the back door; we’ll rely on you to work with your team to unload the stock and ensure it’s in the right place at the right time for our customers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the displays are well organised, beautifully presented and the information is accurate.Your role is much more than just stock on shelves, it’s a vital part of creating a truly inspirational customer experience in our shops.Cafe Assistant: You will be working in either our fast-paced customer restaurants or staff canteen, delivering the exciting John Lewis food offer with excellent service and serving our food to exceptional standards.You’ll be involved in food production, stock management as well as selling duties, working both in the kitchen and the restaurant.Partnership PerksFull training will be provided which includes digital learning and on the job training to ensure you feel confident and supported in your new roleDesirable experience & skillsExperience in a selling or stock management role within a retail environment or in a hospitality role.Additional InformationPlease note: the majority of our Christmas roles are temporaryPlease advise us if you require a reasonable adjustment as part of the assessment processWe occasionally close vacancies early in the event we receive a high volume of applications and therefore we recommend you apply earlyPay:Scheduled Weekly hours: 37.5Worker Type: Short Term Temporary Partner (Fixed Term)Job Level: Partnership Level 10Hours of Work: Varied hours of full and part time work across seven days to include early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends between the hours of 06:00 – 20:00.At the John Lewis Partnership, we embrace our differences.
