To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.This programme is an exciting collaboration between NHS Tayside and Robert Gordon University.This cohort will focus on Adult Nursing within Perth Royal Infirmary.Nurses leave the profession over time for a variety of reasons, perhaps because of changes in personal circumstance, a career break or something else. This programme will be very rewarding both personally and professionally and gives nurses the opportunity to bring their skills and experience back to the profession and caring for our patients.Entry requirements to apply

• Evidence of previous UK NMC registration on the relevant part of the register.
• Following successful interview undertake and complete all required pre-employment checks including PVG Clearance from Disclosure Scotland and Occupational Health screening for immunisations.
• Commitment to fulfil the programme and then remain within employment for a minimum of one year with NHS Tayside.
• Be able to attend the academical theory element of the course without interruption, i.e., holidays.

Our commitment to you

• Your course fees will be paid in full. This will be arranged on the first day of your programme.
• NHS Tayside will support you financially, meaning you will be paid as a Band 2 for the full duration of the programme.
• On successful completion of the course, you will be offered permanent employment in a substantive post within the Perth & Kinross area. Whilst awaiting your NMC registration, you will be paid as a Band 4 should you work in this period between course completion and registration.
• You will receive full academic and practical placement support.
• You will become competent in a range of clinical skills including medicine management, organisational aspects of person-centred care and much more.

What happens next?There will be an online information session available where you can hear from key facilitators of the course from both Robert Gordon University and NHS Tayside.
