Job Title: Right of Way SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Right of Way Specialist to support the acquisition of right of way and additional inquiries for easements in Distribution property for projects within Power Delivery. You will primarily negotiate with landowners to acquire easements and provide support for Distribution acquisition functions in the Western Division.Responsibilities

• Negotiate with landowners to acquire easements on behalf of the company.
• Provide support for Distribution acquisition functions in the Western Division.
• Assemble and complete required documentation necessary for land rights acquisition.
• Locate and retrieve necessary documentation in county courthouses to determine legal property ownership.
• Use internet tools for title research when available.
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously and keep files organized.
• Interact effectively with the general public and company employees to ensure timely and professional acquisition processes.

Essential Skills

• Real estate experience
• Right of way and land acquisition knowledge
• Experience with easements and legal documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Ability to conduct research and administration

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to professionally negotiate for land rights
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for interactions with the public and employees

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in the Jasper located in the Western Division. Most work will be conducted in the field and remotely. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour days and some flexibility in start times, maintaining a consistent schedule.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $45.00
