Penguin Random House is hiring an Assistant, Rights Management to perform functions primarily related to the maintenance of royalty vendor master data.Responsibilities include:

• Review and confirm royalty vendor set up
• Review and confirm ACH/IACH/E-Wire payment set up for royalty vendors
• Assist Rights Management Administrator with royalty vendor creation and changes
• Oversee processing of tax levies received from IRS and other government agencies
• Perform address research to locate royalty participants
• Issue unclaimed check letters to royalty participants
• Provide coverage for Royalty phone line when necessary
• Provide coverage for Royalty ACH mailbox when necessary
• Communicating with internal partners such as Contracts, Royalties, Accounts Payable and Editorial
• Flexibility to provide coverage for other tasks as needed

• Ability to problem solve, manage time, act independently, and be resourceful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe
• Experience in using SAP systems a plus

Salary for this position is $51,000 and requires some physical presence in the office.Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits program.
