University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us.Please see below for detailed job description of the role.Main duties of the jobThe Division A Governance Team are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the risk and patient safety agenda within an individual care group.The post holder will provide support for all the departments for the care group and will be joining the governance team for the division. They will play a key role in promoting and supporting excellence and quality in healthcare, in relation to patient safety and risk management. They will demonstrate understanding of the risk assessment process.An important part of the role is undertaking reviews of incidents under the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) which will require the post holder to consider new ways of working; involve report writing and presenting of those reports to key meetings within the care group and organisation.Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working.
