Registered NurseMonday – Friday/ 8am – 5pmJob DescriptionThe RN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with various duties including recording patient history, monitoring medical records, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.Responsibilities

• Accurately record patient history per policy.
• Retrieve initial basic condition of patients, create nursing history and report to the appropriate practitioner.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records. Maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
• Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment.
• Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and take corrective action when violations occur.
• Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay accurately to patients.
• Take calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relay appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely manner.
• Assure test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner.
• Complete medical orientation checklist.
• Initiate appropriate patient education.

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state
• BLS Certified
