Job Description

As a Robotics Simulation Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing automated production equipment solutions. You will work collaboratively in an engineering team to understand and modify design requirements, providing on-site support to mature and control production systems. Your role will involve creating and maintaining critical path schedules for projects, conducting design reviews, and applying an engineering mindset to continuously learn and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical design for automated production equipment solutions, focusing on assembly, build, installation, and maturation in production facilities.
• Collaborate with an engineering team to understand and modify automated production equipment designs.
• Offer on-site support to install, system up, and mature control systems for production equipment.
• Create and maintain a critical path schedule to produce control system design deliverables, achieving project milestones for small to medium projects.
• Conduct and attend design reviews to ensure design standards and specifications are met.
• Continuously apply engineering principles to learn and expand knowledge in relevant manufacturing technologies.

Essential Skills

• Experience with simulation tools such as Motosim and Roboguide.
• Knowledge of robotics and PLC systems.
• Proven ability in simulation and mechanical design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or a related field.

Work Environment

This position requires working in the office and traveling to various sites, including up to 10-15 weekends a year. Travel involves visiting different plants across North America. The role offers an engaging opportunity with a team that excels in offline programming of robotics, with the potential for contract-to-hire after six months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Marysville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 – $36.06/hr.
