Roving Veterinary Receptionist

Job Title: Receptionist – Roving

Salary: £11.56 per hour

Location: Calder Vets – Dewsbury (Required to support across our branches as required)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, Week 1: 7.30-16.30 Week 2: 11:00-20:00 and 1 in 4 Weekends.

We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist to become a valued member of our exceptional team at Calder Vets!

Your role and responsibilities

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Welcoming and registering clients

• Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner

• Answer and make calls with a high level of customer service

• Support the business with a range of administrative duties

• Be happy to discuss financial issues with clients if needs be

• Taking payments

• Processing prescription requests

• Promoting offers and services

• Covering other Clinics as and when required.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 12 months experience dealing with customers in a customer-facing role.

• Previous veterinary experience is desirable but not essential.

• A driving licence is required to be a successful applicant.

• An understanding of computer packages for example Teams and Outlook
