Role location:We are open to candidates based in Toronto, ON/the Greater Toronto area with the right to work in Canada.This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office, which is conveniently located within the Financial District of Downtown Toronto, near Union Station and the TTC, while the remainder of time can be spent working from home.This role is a global role, meaning that you will be engaging with colleagues and leaders located in varying time zones throughout Ignition’s 3 operating regions – AMER (US & Canada, within both Eastern & Pacific time zones), EMEA (the UK) and APAC (Sydney & Brisbane time zones). The ideal candidate will need to be flexible to accommodate working hours to suit all time zones, including evenings as required.Job DescriptionThe Sales Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving Ignition’s new customer acquisition efforts. In this role, you will oversee the sales operations function, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization. Reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations, you will work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, CX and other cross-functional teams to optimize processes, analyze sales performance, discover new tools and implement strategies that drive our revenue objectives.What your day to day will look like:Sales Process Optimization: Design, implement, and manage scalable sales processes and workflows that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Team.Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the management of sales data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into all aspects of performance ranging from initial outreach to closing effectiveness.Performance Analysis: Analyze sales metrics and provide actionable insights to improve performance and drive new customer acquisition.Sales Tool Management: Own current and implement new sales tools that provide efficiency and effectiveness for our sales motion.Forecasting and Planning: Assist in the sales forecasting process, working with sales leadership to develop accurate and achievable sales plans.Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, CX, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales Leadership to identify training needs, assist in developing materials, and ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.QualificationsYou have at least 5+ years of experience in sales operations, with at least 1 year in a Sales Operations Manager roleYou have experience working with modern sales automation tools and CRMs, specifically HubSpot. Experience or familiarity with ChiliPiper and Gong are a plus!Must be an exceptionally organized individual, who is used to managing tasks and project boards in Asana.You have demonstrated strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to explain complex processes simply.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with company objectives.You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and data accuracy.Additional InformationWhy join us:Join our global SaaS scale-up company where we foster a collaborative, open, and transparent culture and work without ego.
