For 60 years our Waltham Petcare Science Institute has been advancing science to better understand pet health.

We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic Sales Representative based in the Lombardy region. In this role, you will be the local and key person to represent the company and sell our veterinary products across the region.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • You are responsible for the competent explanation, demonstration, instruction, and sale of our innovative in-house diagnostics systems in veterinary practices;

  • Planning meetings with prospects and existing customers;

  • Implementation of device connections to the practice management software;

  • Organization of product demonstrations and presentations and support customers with technical questions about our devices;

  • Take part in congresses, symposia and exhibitions;

  • Support the implementation of strategies and action plans to increase sales and customer acquisition;

  • Collect strategic market information.

Work Experience

  • Preferably a relevant sales experience in the (veterinary) diagnostics market;

  • You have strong communication skills;

  • A strong work/ go-get mentality;

  • Excellent planning and organization skills and a flexible mindset;

  • Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of the English language;

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Power Point, Excel) are essential;

  • The position requires a high willingness to travel by car.
