SAP – Enterprise Transformation Director – Technology LeaderHaleon is embarking on a bold five-year ERP transformation journey, one of the most significant technology initiatives in our history. We are seeking a seasoned SAP Transformation Director to represent the technology function at the highest level as we embark on this transformative endeavour.About the RoleAs the Technology Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving this transformation with a capital T—a complete redesign of processes and systems, supporting parallel deployments and multiple releases. Representing the technology function as a subject matter expert, you will partner closely with the Business Lead to deliver a cohesive, enterprise-wide transformation.This role combines strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and team building. You’ll manage an outsourced partner, recruit top-tier talent (both internal and external), and oversee rigorous execution through stage gates, readiness checks (UAT), and disciplined accountability.With significant capital investment this initiative demands exceptional leadership to deliver on its ambitious objectives.What You’ll Be DoingTechnical Strategy and LeadershipDefine the ERP scope and delivery roadmap, ensuring alignment with Haleon’s strategic objectives.Oversee the coordination of technical solutions and system integrators to meet program milestones.Lead the development of technical requirements, architecture, and quality standards.Implementation OversightLead the global rollout of the S/4HANA template, ensuring architecture standardization and system alignment.Manage interdependencies across workstreams and resolve ERP design challenges.Execute rigorous readiness processes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure flawless delivery.Vendor and Team ManagementManage outsourced partners, contracts, and RFQs to ensure successful service delivery.Recruit and build a high-performing team of technical professionals, both internal and external.Collaborate closely with HR to deliver training and capacity-building programs for S/4HANA adoption.Business Alignment and InnovationPartner with the Business Lead to ensure technical and process changes deliver tangible business benefits.Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency.Provide hands-on problem-solving support and foster collaboration across technical and functional domains.Governance and AccountabilityMaintain accountability for delivering technical milestones and adhering to the Activate methodology.Ensure disciplined execution, with a focus on stage gates, readiness, and accountability.What We’re Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you must be a seasoned SAP professional with a proven track record in delivering large, complex transformation programs. Specifically, you’ll bring:Extensive Experience: 20+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles within IT transformation projects.SAP and ERP Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP systems (S/4HANA), ERP architecture, systems integration, and global rollout methodologies.Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the supply chain business, including warehousing processes.Proven Leadership: Experience managing outsourced partners, recruiting teams, and delivering large-scale transformation initiatives.Execution Discipline: A rigorous approach to execution, stage gates, readiness processes (UAT), and disciplined accountability.Global Mindset: Experience working with multinational teams, with consultancy background and large corporate environments being a plus.Why This Role MattersThis transformation project is a once-in-a-career opportunity to lead a fundamental shift in how Haleon operates, driving tangible business benefits on a global scale.
